What are supersets?

In exercise terms, a superset is a training technique that involves performing two exercises back to back without rest in between.

A superset typically involves targeting the same muscle group with both exercises, but it can also involve working opposing muscle groups, such as biceps and triceps.

For example, performing a set of bicep curls immediately followed by a set of tricep extensions with no rest in between would be considered a superset.

Supersets are often used as a way to increase intensity and efficiency during workouts, as they help to maximize the amount of work done in a shorter amount of time. They can also be used to challenge the body in new ways and break through plateaus in training.
